Care and installation requirements depend on the material and intended surface. Follow the product description and the instructions supplied with the order.
Before application:
- Use a clean, dry, stable and fully cured surface.
- Follow the paint manufacturer’s curing time. Paint that feels dry may not be fully cured.
- Test a small, discreet area when surface compatibility is uncertain.
Installation and cleaning:
- Apply without stretching the material and smooth it gradually.
- Some products can be repositioned during installation. This does not mean they can be stored and reused later.
- Use a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth only when the product instructions allow it. Avoid abrasive tools and strong solvents.
Removal:
- Lift an edge and peel slowly at a low angle.
- Use moderate warmth only when the product instructions allow it.
- Stop if paint, wallpaper or the underlying finish begins to lift.
Residue-free or damage-free removal cannot be guaranteed for every material, paint system or surface condition.

Custom Door Vinyl Logo and Business Name Decal
Identify an office, studio or shop entrance with a vinyl decal made from your own company logo, lettering or artwork. The design is printed with eco-solvent inks and contour cut for suitable glass doors or smooth interior door surfaces. Your branding remains the focus rather than a large printed rectangle around it.
How the cutting layout works
Background-free means the unwanted outer area surrounding the design is removed from the layout. It does not necessarily mean transparent vinyl is used. Small floating elements, fine lines and tiny text may need a shared contour, connection or simplification for production and application. Cleanly separated artwork is easier to prepare than blurred graphics or complex photographic backgrounds.
Door measurements and orientation
Size options are listed as width x height in inches. Measure the usable door area, allowing for handles, hinges and any existing signs. For rectangular lettering or a multi-part layout, contact us before ordering to confirm the appropriate dimensions and price. For glass doors, specify the application side and the side from which the text should be read. If the smaller dimension exceeds 22 inches, the decal is supplied in multiple sections.
How to submit your artwork
After checkout, email your order number, artwork and final dimensions to info@decords.com. AI, EPS, PDF and SVG files are preferred, with text converted to outlines. High-quality PNG or JPG files can also be assessed. Approximately 300 dpi at intended output size is recommended for raster images. We will contact you if file quality or cutting details need adjustment before production.
Color and surface preparation
Send CMYK values or a color reference for branding, and discuss critical matching before placing your order. Screen colors and physical prints may differ. Apply only to a clean, dry, smooth surface suitable for self-adhesive vinyl. Check coated glass, delicate paint and exterior exposure with us first; peeling or damaged surfaces are unsuitable.
This is a physical custom-made adhesive decal, not a rigid door plaque or digital download. Your supplied design is used rather than the example graphics shown. Select delivery at checkout and review the store's return policy for custom-made items. Submit artwork you own or have permission to reproduce.
