Care and installation requirements depend on the material and intended surface. Follow the product description and the instructions supplied with the order.
Before application:
- Use a clean, dry, stable and fully cured surface.
- Follow the paint manufacturer’s curing time. Paint that feels dry may not be fully cured.
- Test a small, discreet area when surface compatibility is uncertain.
Installation and cleaning:
- Apply without stretching the material and smooth it gradually.
- Some products can be repositioned during installation. This does not mean they can be stored and reused later.
- Use a soft dry cloth, or a slightly damp cloth only when the product instructions allow it. Avoid abrasive tools and strong solvents.
Removal:
- Lift an edge and peel slowly at a low angle.
- Use moderate warmth only when the product instructions allow it.
- Stop if paint, wallpaper or the underlying finish begins to lift.
Residue-free or damage-free removal cannot be guaranteed for every material, paint system or surface condition.

Custom Car and Van Vinyl Logo Decal
Create vehicle graphics from your own business logo, lettering or finished artwork. Your file is printed on vinyl with eco-solvent inks and contour cut around the intended design. Suitable projects include company cars, vans, trucks and individual vehicle branding on compatible smooth body panels or glass.
A shaped graphic, not a rectangular background
The unwanted outer area around your artwork is removed from the layout. Background-free describes that appearance; it does not mean the vinyl is necessarily transparent. Tiny letters, thin lines and disconnected details may need a common contour or simplified cutting layout. This is a physical adhesive decal, not a magnetic sign or a digital design file. Example graphics shown in the listing do not replace the artwork you need to supply.
Measure the vehicle and specify placement
Size options show width x height in inches. For a long logo, separate door graphics, multiple copies or a larger vehicle layout, contact us before ordering to confirm dimensions and pricing. Tell us the vehicle type, application surface and required position. For glass, also specify the application side and reading direction. If the smaller dimension exceeds 22 inches, the decal is supplied in multiple sections.
Send a production-ready file
Email your order number, artwork and required dimensions to info@decords.com after checkout. AI, EPS, PDF and SVG are preferred, with lettering converted to outlines. High-quality PNG or JPG files can be assessed; approximately 300 dpi at intended output size is recommended for raster images. We will contact you if the file or fine cutting details require adjustment before production.
Color and surface suitability
Provide CMYK values or a color reference for branding, and discuss critical matching before purchase. Screen and printed colors can differ. The surface must be clean, dry, smooth and sound. Tell us about coatings, recent paintwork and exterior exposure so suitability can be checked. Service life and removal results depend on the surface, exposure and care; avoid damaged paint and locations that obstruct visibility, lights or sensors.
