Wall stickers for a new home, celebration, or room update

A decorative sticker can mark an important occasion without taking up floor or table space. Depending on the design, it can be used as a photo background, an accent above furniture, a welcoming detail near an entrance, or a longer-term part of the room.

Purpose	Suitable design direction	Possible placement
New home or house dedication	Welcome messages, botanical designs, family-themed art	Entrance, hallway, living room
Birthday at home	Names, messages, themed graphics, photo-area decor	Behind a table or on a clear feature wall
Everyday interior update	Floral, nature, abstract, artistic, or minimalist decals	Bedroom, living room, office, or reading area
Door or window decoration	Products specifically made for glass, doors, or smooth panels	Interior doors, windows, glass partitions

How to choose the right design

Start with the purpose. Decide whether the decoration is for a particular celebration or will remain as part of the interior.
Choose one focal area. A clear wall behind a sofa, dining table, bed, or photo area usually gives the design more impact.
Measure the available space. Compare the product dimensions with the usable wall area rather than judging size only from listing images.
Check the product type. A wall decal, window film, door sticker, and printed mural may have different application requirements.
Match the style to the room. Minimal text works well in calm interiors, while larger botanical or illustrated designs can create a stronger feature wall.

Which surfaces work best?

Wall decals generally apply most reliably to clean, dry, smooth, and sound surfaces. Dust, grease, moisture, loose paint, strong texture, or recently painted walls can reduce adhesion. Paint type and surface condition also affect later removal.

For glass, doors, furniture panels, or other non-wall surfaces, choose a product specifically intended for that use. If compatibility is uncertain, test the material on a small hidden area and follow the instructions on the selected product page.

Frequently asked questions

What is a house dedication wall sticker?

It is a decorative decal used to mark a new home, family milestone, blessing, welcome, or gathering. The design may use text, symbols, botanical elements, or personalized details depending on the product.

Can these stickers be used for a birthday celebration at home?

Many designs can help create a birthday focal point or photo area. Check that the theme, dimensions, material, and intended surface match your planned setup.

Are all 168 products temporary party decorations?

No. The collection also includes everyday wall art, botanical decals, bedroom decor, children’s designs, and products for doors or windows.

Can I personalize a name, date, or message?

Personalization is available only when stated on the individual product page. For made-to-order text, logos, or custom designs, visit the Custom & Personalized collection.

Will a decal remove without damaging paint?

The result depends on the adhesive, paint type, wall preparation, surface condition, installation time, and removal method. Review the instructions for the selected product and test an inconspicuous area when needed.

Can I apply a wall sticker to a textured wall?

Smooth surfaces generally provide more reliable adhesion. Texture can reduce contact between the adhesive and the wall, so confirm the requirements of the chosen product before ordering.

How do I choose the correct size?

Measure the usable width and height, mark the proposed outline with removable tape, and check it from normal viewing distance. Use the actual dimensions listed on the product page rather than relying on room mock-ups.

Where are Decords products made and how long does production take?

Decords produces its products. Standard production normally takes 1–3 business days, and free international shipping is available. The delivery estimate depends on the destination and shipping method shown for the order.
